PROCLAIMING the Gospel of Jesus Christ                PROVIDING services at a low cost                     PROMOTING integral training of workers
"This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." John 15:8
Arts & Crafts teaching is provided
once a month at the Community
classes
The "Good News" outreach ministry, led by
Wilson Soleto (left) is supported by FT worker
Sammy Gutierrez (third from left)
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, classes are run on FT premises for various groups of needy
children, supplementary to their regular school education. The activities include games, arts & crafts, homework
support, English teaching and Bible teaching. As many children come from impoverished backgrounds, a
nutritional snack is provided to each participant. A bus is contracted by FT to bring children to the premises and
take them home -- though as many stay in the town's prisons, 'home' is a very loose definition.
Monday afternoon
Classes provided for children whose mothers live in Trinidad's women's prison,
as well as children in FT's local community.

Wednesday afternoon
Classes provided for children whose fathers live in Trinidad's men's prison.

Friday afternoon
Classes provided for children of pre-school age from both the men's and
women's prison.
Additionally, this side of the work includes visiting families in prison and in the local community.
Prison Ministry
On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, FT worker Sammy
Gutierrez provides support to the established "Good
News"outreach ministry, which works among men in the
local
men's penitentiary.

Facilitation of Access to Services
Fundación Totaí aims to establish a link between families
involved in the community ministry and FT's other
services,
particularly its health services. In 2010, over
400 services
were provided to just under 300 people.
